Vickers Oils VICKERLUBE FGS EP GREASE 2 is a premium-quality, food-grade extreme pressure grease, aluminium complex thickened and based on synthetic polyalphaolefin (PAO) base oils. The grease is specifically engineered for high-temperature and high-load environments in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industry. Applications: Roller and ball bearings in wide temperature ranges, plain bearings, bushes, slides and guides, and general grease points requiring an NLGI 2 grease. Particularly suited to humid environments and equipment subjected to wash down. Benefits: NSF H1 registered for incidental food contact, outstanding thermal stability and oxidation resistance, extreme pressure resistant with good load carrying capacity, resists shock loads, low water washout for extended relubrication intervals, oxidation and corrosion inhibited for longer life and component protection. Technical data: Thickener: Aluminium complex Base oil: Synthetic PAO Consistency: NLGI 2 Appearance: Off-white grease Base oil viscosity: 330 cSt at 40 °C Drop point: over 250 °C 4-ball weld test: over 400 kg 4-ball wear scar: under 0.8 mm Water washout: under 10 percent at 79 °C Operating temperature: -40 to 150 °C Maximum peak temperature: 170 °C NSF H1 registration: 161276 FDA: 21 CFR 178.3570 ISO 21469: Manufactured to ISO 21469 Halal: Halal certified Kosher: Kosher certified Elastomer compatibility: Nitrile and Fluoroelastomers (ASTM D4289) Pack sizes: 180 kg (barrel), 18 kg (pail), 400 g (cartridge) Shelf life: 5 years
