Vickerlube HV WRL is a solvent free, viscous, mineral oil-based wire rope lubricant from Vickers Oils, formulated for applications where high levels of corrosion and moisture are a concern. The fluidity helps ensure that the rope strands are well lubricated, reducing internal wear, while displacing moisture and forming a thin barrier of continuous lubricant film that prevents corrosion. Suitable for both stored and operational wire ropes in marine, port and heavy industry applications.

Vickerlube HV WRL is a solvent free, viscous, mineral oil-based wire rope lubricant for applications with high corrosion and moisture protection requirements.
Applications: Wire ropes on quayside ship to shore cranes, container handling equipment, marine deck and winch ropes, and all lifting and drag ropes in mining, construction, logging and bridge or waterway applications. Also protects stored ropes against corrosion.
Benefits: Penetrates between strands, excellent de-watering that displaces moisture and leaves a thin lubricant film, corrosion protective, extreme pressure resistant and extends rope life.
Technical profile: Viscosity 198 cSt at 40 °C, flash point over 232 °C (SETA), pour point below -5 °C, 4-ball weld load 160 kgf, copper corrosion 1b, rust test pass in distilled water and synthetic sea water, mineral oil based, shelf life 7 years. Pack size 25 litre pail.
