Vickers Oils NEOX D sterntube lubricant
Vickers Oils NEOX D is a high-viscosity, emulsifiable, grease-like stern tube lubricant applied using a grease applicator. It is sometimes used with compression seals and is recommended for the lubrication of trunnion bearings on some older Rolls Royce (Brown Brothers) retractable fin stabilisers. The product dramatically reduces wear to stern tube bearings in the event of sea water ingress and is not recommended for use with elastomer lip stern seals.

Applications: Stern tube bearings and compression seals, and lubrication of trunnion bearings on some older Rolls Royce (Brown Brothers) retractable fin stabilisers. Not recommended for use with elastomer lip stern seals.
