This is the automatic version of Dan M3. The light activates automatically when in water and can be turned off manually if required. The Daniamant W3 lifejacket lights exceeds the 0.75cd output specification / 8 hour duration required by IMO SOLAS regulations. The light is a single compact flashing unit. The light is emitted through a low profile dome, which makes it less susceptible to damage during evacuation. The light has two different clips to choose from, one to go over a thin strap called "clip 1" and one to go over a 5 cm belt called "clip 2".
